The last few years i have added birdwatching to my outdoor hobbies, it is such a great extension of what i already love about observing nature. Cataloging details that will go on to help you make a positive ID, consulting field guides, familiarizing yourself with behaviors and habits of certain species, learning songs and calls. So much to tackle, but all worth the effort. This little guy is a male yellow warbler. He was flitting about where the river met the lake.
Maroon Bells is the most photographed mountain range in north america, and for good reason. Some amazing views and this time of year the crowds have not moved in yet, so you get a much more personal experience.
Im creating this NATURE BLOG to share some of my favorite moments, sightings, experiences, etc. from my time outdoors. It will give you an idea of what inspires my tattoos and artwork and my life in general. My hope is that you find it inspiring and maybe get outside and pursue some adventures of your own. There is a lot to be fascinated with out there.
